Refund Policy

We want you to love your SideEye Studios purchase. If something’s not right, we’ll make it right within the guidelines below. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, returns, refunds, replacements, and shipping work for purchases made through our website (the “Site”).

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable local law.

1. Eligibility Window (14-Day Returns)

If you purchased a physical product directly from sideeyestudios.com, you may request a return or cancellation:

  • Any time before your order ships, or
  • Within 14 days after delivery, starting the day after you receive the product (the “Return Window”).

If your request is outside the Return Window, we may still be able to help at our discretion, depending on the situation. Contact us and we’ll tell you what options are available.

2. Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a refund, returned items must generally be:

  • Unused and in the same condition you received them
  • In original packaging (where reasonably possible)
  • With all components included (cards, instructions, inserts, etc.)

We may request proof of purchase and/or proof of return shipment before processing a refund. Delays in providing requested information may delay your refund.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped) or the product arrived defective/damaged.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.
  • SideEye Studios is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

4. Refund Review Timeline (Inspection + Decision)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 7 business days of the date we receive the return.

5. Refund Timing (When You Get Your Money Back)

If approved:

Your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.

​Please note: it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.

6. Cancellations

  • Before shipment: You can cancel for a full refund.
  • After shipment: You may return the item within the Return Window (see above).

If an order cannot be canceled because it has already shipped, we’ll help you initiate a return instead.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Missing Components

A) If you purchased directly from SideEye Studios

If your product arrived damaged, defective, or missing components, contact us within 14 days of delivery at returns@sideeyestudios.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos (if applicable)

If eligible, we’ll offer a replacement part, replacement product, or refund, depending on availability and the issue.

B) If you purchased from an authorized retailer

If you bought your game from a third-party retailer (online or in-store), please return/exchange it directly with that retailer under their return policy. They’ll usually require proof of purchase.

If they can’t help, contact us and we’ll see what we can do, but we cannot guarantee replacements for products not purchased directly from our Site.

8. Lost Packages

If your order appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at returns@sideeyestudios.com within 7 days of the estimated delivery date.

  • If tracking shows the package as lost or undelivered, we will work with the carrier to investigate.
  • If the carrier confirms the package as lost, we will issue a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
  • If tracking confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, we are unable to replace or refund the order, but we’ll still do our best to assist you in filing a carrier claim.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. SideEye Studios is not responsible for packages lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

9. Purchases Through Third Parties (Amazon / Retailers / Marketplaces)

If you purchased through:

  • Amazon (including “Buy with Prime”)
  • A marketplace
  • A retail store
  • Another website

Your return/refund is subject to that seller’s policies, and SideEye Studios cannot process refunds directly for those orders.

10. Digital Products

Unless required by law, digital products are non-refundable once accessed, downloaded, redeemed, or used.

11. How to Start a Return

OPTION 1:

Email us at returns@sideeyestudios.com with:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • The item(s) you want to return
  • The reason for return (optional but helpful)

We’ll send you return instructions. Please do not send returns without contacting us first.

OPTION 2 (RECOMMENDED):

  • Log in to your SideEye account and visit "Orders" to select the item(s) you would like to return.
  • Follow the guided steps to submit your return request.
  • Track the status of your return anytime through your ShapeYou account.
  • Receive email updates as your return progresses.
